Katelyn Ann Weirich lived with a rare and beautiful strength—one rooted in faith, love, and an unwavering commitment to others.
Even during her battle with pediatric cancer, Katelyn chose joy. She filled hospital rooms with laughter, built friendships wherever she went, and continually looked for ways to brighten someone else’s day.
Along the way, a community formed around her—lifting up the Weirich family with incredible generosity and care. That support made it possible for them to focus on what mattered most: being together.
After Katelyn’s passing in 2025, her family chose to carry that same love forward.
The Strong Like Katelyn Joy Fund was created to ensure other families experience that same support, presence, and compassion—turning one girl’s legacy into something that continues to grow and give.
MISSION
To spread joy, hope, and compassionate support to families with children affected by cancer—walking alongside them with the same generosity, faith, and love Katelyn shared with others.
VISION
A world where no family with children faces cancer alone—where moments of joy, connection, and hope are present even in the hardest seasons, and where Katelyn’s legacy continues to bring people closer to one another and to something greater than themselves.
COLLABORATION WITH GLITTER GUILD
Before the Strong Like Katelyn Joy Fund ever existed, the Weirich family experienced firsthand the love and support of Glitter Guild.
During Katelyn’s cancer journey, they were one of the families served—surrounded by a community that showed up in meaningful, tangible ways. Through acts of generosity, care, and compassion, Glitter Guild helped create moments of light in an incredibly difficult season, giving their family the gift of presence, support, and time together. Today, that same story has come full circle.
The Strong Like Katelyn Joy Fund now lives within Glitter Guild as a way to carry that impact forward—transforming the support they once received into support for others. What was once given to them is now being given through them.
This partnership is more than aligned missions—it is an example of what’s possible when a community shows up for one another.
